Arrival at the airport and welcome by our team. Transfer to hotel, south-East of Bari.
Day 2
Visit to Alberobello, a UNESCO site, characterised by its peasant houses called Trulli. With our local guide, we will learn about its history and architecture.Visit the enchanting Grottoes of Castellana, an underground paradise of stalactites and stalagmites.Day 3
A day along the Adriatic coast passing by the enchanting Monopoli and its ancient fishing port and Polignano a Mare, the “pearl of the Adriatic”, where we can enjoy the best ice cream of Puglia, while strolling on the splendid terraces overlooking the sea.
Day 4
A hop into Basilicata region, where Matera, the city of “Sassi” and the first UNESCO site in southern Italy, awaits us. Set of many Hollywood films such as “007 James Bond : NO TIME TO DIE”. After the visit, we will taste the fragrant local bread by a master baker.Day 5
The Itria Valley and its white villages. The ‘white lady’ Ostuni, characterised by its houses covered in quicklime. Locorotondo, town of white wine and round-shaped village.Day 6
A day wandering around the elegant city of Lecce, capital of the Baroque. Then we reach Otranto, the easternmost town in Italy and there we discover the Pantaleone mosaic, which dates back to the XII century.Day 7
A day of art and history starting in Trani, where we will be fascinated by the enchanting cathedral by the sea, and then head for Castel del Monte, the crown of Puglia.Day 8
